YourRoom is a horror, illustrated ARG set in 2007.
An ARG (alternate reality game) is an interactive story that allows the player to control the speed and direction of the story.
This story takes place on an illustrated website based off sites such as MySpace and Bebo for PC.
This story follows a group of friends on social media, allowing the player to learn about each individual, their dynamics and their drama.

This project is intended to be a nostalgia rush for the early 00s, coupled with a secret mystery for the player to uncover.
This project takes inspiration from early 00s films such as Mean Girls, Freaky Friday and Juno, as well as ARGs such as The Walten Files, This House Has People In It and The Mandela Catalogue, particularly how these were videos and became ARGs with their expansive websites.
This project was completed for my final year project in TUS Athlone for Animation and Illustration. This project required a physical display of work for an exhibition and I had the opportunity to create Madison's own bedroom.
